Mentorship

Mentorship is offered in 5-month or 10-month options for teachers. Topics included in Teacher Mentorship are:

• Effective Communication Techniques for Parents and Administrators

• Transitions

• Specially Designed Instruction (SDI)

• Incorporating Data into Planning

• Universal Design for Learning (UDL)

• Creating Classroom Communities

• Checking for Engagement

Leaders can choose from 6-month or 12-month options. The 12-month option reflects 46 weeks of support: 40 weeks during the school year and 6 weeks during the summer). Topics included in Leadership Mentorship are: 

• Evaluating current systems

• Implementing systems to assess student outcomes

• Finding harmony in the work-life balance

• Access to a network of leaders
